Established in 1981, Darling Earth Movers are specialist civil contractors with major experience in developmental blasting and drilling.

Led by Principal Michael O’Neill, our small team has extensive experience in the direction and control of civil earthworks and controlled blasting sites.

Michael O'Neill holds a W.A. Unrestricted Shot Firer’s License and a License to Manufacture Explosives. He is a Member of the International Society of Explosives Engineers and a Gazetted Bush Fires Board ‘Fire Control Officer’.

Darling Earth takes great pride in its ability to be able to complete each project undertaken on time, with minimum disruption and great attention to detail, and within the allotted budget.

Current insurances

All insurances held are to government tender specifications to cover our scope of works. Certificates of Currency as required are supplied to clients on request. Insurance Cover $50,000, 000.

Quality system

Darling Earth is currently working towards achieving accreditation as a Quality Assured Company and a copy of our Quality manual, complying with AS/NZS ISO9001:2000 is available for perusal.

Darling Earth is committed to using Western Australian businesses to supply products and services related to the performance of any contract.

Environmental considerations

Wherever possible, Darling Earth recycles all recyclable material. This includes within our Office procedures where we re-use non-sensitive printed materials and ink cartridges, and any products in excess of our needs are recycled in our Local Authority’s recycling program. By-products from our civil construction activities are always disposed of in the required manner to appropriate waste disposal service centres, whilst green waste is turned into mulch.
